Fulfillment Warehouse Director of Operations
Our client is a fast‑growing third‑party logistics (3PL) and warehousing provider with operations across key U.S. logistics hubs, serving clients in retail, e‑commerce, industrial, and automotive sectors by offering tailored logistics solutions. We are looking to strengthen our people operations with an experienced Director of Fulfillment & Transloading Operations. As our multi‑location 3PL operations scale, we need a seasoned leader who understands cross‑border e‑commerce, U.S. logistics operations, and end‑to‑end warehouse management to help elevate operational performance, team capability, and overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Lead daily operations of fulfillment, 3PL warehousing, and transfer services, ensuring smooth inbound, inventory, picking/packing, and outbound workflows.
Train, supervise, and develop the operations team; build and optimize SOPs to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Serve as the primary client‑facing leader, handling communication, requirements, escalations, and customized logistics solutions.
Coordinate across multiple internal teams (Receiving, Shipping, Trucking, Customer Service, Billing, IT/WMS) to ensure SLA performance and service consistency.
Monitor and analyze operational KPIs/SLA; identify issues and drive ongoing process improvements.
Oversee warehouse scheduling, workflow optimization, inventory accuracy, and exception management.
Support pricing, onboarding of major accounts, system enhancements, and project implementation.
Requirements
3+ years of management experience in 3PL, fulfillment, e‑commerce logistics, FBA prep/transfer, or warehouse operations.
Strong understanding of Shopify, Amazon FBM, Walmart workflows and WMS systems.
Proven experience in team leadership, SOP implementation, and operational training.
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills; strong ability to solve problems proactively.
English proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
Multi‑warehouse or multi‑state experience is a strong plus.
Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese and English is required; role requires frequent communication with Chinese‑speaking clients and vendors; ability to read and write Mandarin Chinese is required for handling client documents and SOPs.
