Leadership & People Management: Lead, coach, and develop department managers and associates to achieve sales, service, and operational goals. Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture that aligns with Highland Park Market’s mission and standards. Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and labor management to meet business needs and budget goals. Conduct performance reviews, coach for growth, and manage corrective actions when needed. Customer Experience: Model and ensure outstanding customer service throughout the store. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and product presentation to reflect Highland Park Market’s high standards. Operations & Financial Management: Manage daily operations including sales floor performance, opening/closing, cash handling, and store security. Monitor financial performance—sales, margins, labor, shrink—and implement plans to achieve targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, state and local regulations, food safety, and sanitation standards. Work closely with department heads and the central office on budgets, promotions, and inventory controls. Community & Brand Engagement: Represent Highland Park Market in the community and foster local relationships. Support company initiatives, special events, and charitable programs that strengthen our brand presence. Skills

5+ years of experience in grocery or food retail management (multi‑department experience preferred). Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment. Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service excellence. Financial acumen: ability to manage budgets, analyze sales reports, and drive profitable growth. Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Hands‑on leader with a servant‑leadership mindset, calm under pressure, strong decision‑making skills, and high integrity. Experience Level

Permanent position based out of Glastonbury, CT. Full onsite. Pay And Benefits

Salary range: $85,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year. Company benefits will be provided upon offer. Application Deadline
