Position Summary Under general supervision of Technical Group Leadership and Chief Technologist Operations, the Radiologic Technologist provides skill and initiative to the department mission through interactions with staff, the Chief Technologist, and others as necessary.
Primary duties include working as a technologist on either the East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus while also implementing policy and procedures as determined necessary through the Radiology Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Radiology Administration Director.
Department Diagnostic Radiology
Schedule Full Time
Education Completion of two years post‑high school training in an approved school of radiologic technology. RTR and ARRT required.
Job Requirements Work requires knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology practices and the operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment. State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
Work experience of two years or more required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all apprehensions, to instruct students and to provide technical supervision to staff technologists.
Compensation $42.39 - $50.66 per hour. This range is an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. Total compensation includes benefits (medical, dental, vision, pharmacy), contract increases, Flexible Spending Accounts, 403(b) savings matches, earned time cash out, paid time off, career advancement opportunities, and resources to support employee and family wellbeing.
