Principal SAP EWM Consultant – Infosys
We are looking for an experienced Principal SAP EWM Consultant to join our consulting team in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires a deep understanding of SAP EWM processes, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead project teams while delivering high‑value solutions to clients.
Responsibilities
Lead business process consulting, define problems, propose and create solutions.
Drive development, configuration, and deployment of end‑to‑end SAP EWM solutions.
Guide project teams on processes, deliverables, and proposals.
Conduct client training and internal capability building.
Define and detail project scope, estimate effort, and prepare proposals.
Oversee integration with automated systems (ASRS, AGV, LIFT, Scheduler, AMR, conveyors, pallet exchangers, MES, and S4 modules).
Ensure compliance with regulated environments (GXP, SOX) and maintain incident and testing tool governance.
Resolve post‑go‑live critical issues until system stabilization.
Present solutions in architecture/design meetings and secure client approval.
Maintain regular tracking of team deliverables and report progress to clients.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
At least 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Reside in the United States; no visa sponsorship will be provided.
Willingness to travel to project/client locations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
2–4 end‑to‑end SAP EWM implementation projects, with at least two as Solution Architect at client sites.
Experience integrating EWM with automated systems and related modules (MES, S4, SD, MM, PP, QM).
Strong knowledge of inventory management, stock transfers, special stocks, physical inventory, and related WM and EWM processes.
Understanding of life‑science/pharmaceutical business processes and regulated environments.
Proficiency in ABAP debugging, S4 integration, and release governance.
Leadership experience in project delivery, including proposal development and client engagement.
Capacity to communicate effectively via telephone, email, and face‑to‑face with clients and stakeholders.
Location & Travel This position is based in Indianapolis, IN. The role may require travel to project/client locations.
