Residential programs run 24/7 and include individual and group therapy, family therapy, individualized case management, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, medication support services, and crisis intervention.

Job Summary HealthRIGHT 360, a family of programs, is located across 13 different counties in California and provides an array of medical and behavioral health services to marginalized populations. The 815 Residential Dual Diagnosis program fully integrates substance use disorder and mental health services, treating both problems as primary and assisting participants to recognize key reciprocal factors affecting recovery. Services include individual, group and family therapy, trauma‑informed care, case management, family reunification, treatment planning, drug and alcohol counseling, re‑entry and aftercare, linkage to medical services, and medication assisted treatments (e.g., Suboxone).
The Client Safety Navigator is responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment for all clients, staff, and visitors. The role includes using verbal de‑escalation strategies to address crisis situations and client behavioral issues, monitoring entrances and exits, checking clients and visitors in/out, performing house runs and room checks, and collaborating with program leadership and health and safety teams to respond to emergencies and crisis situations.
Key Responsibilities
Stationed at the front desk, monitor entrances and exits, and check clients in when returning from appointments.
Welcomes and assists clients returning from appointments, ensuring they sign in and have any bags checked for contraband.
Welcome visitors, check credentials, ensure they sign in, and escort them to the supervisor on duty.
Ensures a safe and orderly environment for clients, staff, and visitors and deflects traffic; de‑escalates tense, high‑pressure, and emotionally charged situations.
Maintains positive, respectful, non‑confrontational behavior at all times.
Makes regular rounds to monitor entrances, exits, offices, common areas, and building perimeter.
Maintains a welcoming environment by clearing areas of crowds, debris, and out‑of‑place items.
Works collaboratively with service providers and administrative staff to maintain an orderly environment.
Always carries Narcan on person while on duty and uses nasal Narcan to reverse drug overdose when needed.
Maintains client sign‑in/out logs, visitor logs, and files incident reports as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
At least 2-4 years of lived experience with the community behavioral health system and/or criminal justice system (preferred).
Must complete background check and livescan clearance.
We will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
