Program Overview We are seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support the FAA program in the National Aerospace Sector. The selected candidate will ensure financial integrity, performance, and compliance for assigned programs, performing budget execution, forecasting, invoicing, cost analysis, EAC development, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Program Execution & Cost Control
Partner with operational leaders to keep work within budgeted values.
Prepare, maintain, and analyze Estimates at Completion (EACs) and coordinate assumptions with Program Management.
Monitor funding levels, burn rate, milestone billings, labor posting accuracy, and cash collections.
Identify and resolve cost posting errors, ensuring accuracy and alignment with program objectives.
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Support weekly, monthly, and annual forecasting activities, including contributions to the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and program performance metrics.
Conduct variance analysis and provide clear explanations of financial results to Program Managers and leadership.
Pricing, Proposals & Business Analysis
Support proposal pricing, cost strategies, and development of cost volumes.
Provide historical cost analysis and other financial inputs to support capture and proposal teams.
Deliver financial business analysis with clear communication of results and recommendations to leadership.
Compliance, Controls & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, AMS, and government contracting regulations.
Respond to ad‑hoc requests and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant financial experience, or Master’s degree and 6+ years of experience (an additional 4 years may be considered in lieu of a degree).
Strong background in budgeting, auditing, forecasting, cost analysis, and integrating milestone schedules into financial activities.
Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, complex formulas).
Experience with Costpoint, Cognos, and other MS Office applications.
Strong analytical and communication skills, able to explain financial information clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and respond to ad‑hoc requests on short notice.
U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Compensation Target Salary Range: $104,000 – $166,000, based on experience, education, skills, and geographic location. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may apply.
