Role Description The Tax Manager role at BWC in Houston, TX is a full-time hybrid eligible role where some remote work is allowed. The Manager will be responsible for assisting in the Tax Planning, Staff Training, and detail review of Tax Preparation of all types of returns, review, and compilation engagements for clients across various industries. The Manager will also communicate with clients and respond to inquiries as needed. This is a partner track roll with an opportunity to inherit a book of business and advance in techniques to grow your own client base.
Qualifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Title 26 and Tax Preparation, Detail Review, and Research
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred, EA based on experience
Experience with CCH Axcess a plus
