What You’ll Do
Optimize and Secure Our Network: Ensure a simplified, high-performing, and secure network from ISP to device.
Modernize Infrastructure: Standardize and update on-premise systems while leading the migration to a cloud-first environment—working toward 100% cloud-only end users.
Enhance Identity & Access: Deploy robust Identity Management and Single Sign-On frameworks for staff, students, and authorized personnel.
Drive Operational Excellence: Define and implement a support framework that promotes rapid resolution, self-service, and cost efficiency.
Lead Problem Management: Identify recurring incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and launch projects to eliminate issues.
Champion IT Policies: Establish and prioritize IT policies and procedures to strengthen governance and compliance.
Manage People & Partners: Oversee IT support teams, MSP relationships, and ensure top-tier performance.
Some travel required.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline OR 15+ years in network engineering, infrastructure, and application support.
5+ years implementing ITIL or similar ITSM frameworks (preferred).
3–5 years in a Service Desk environment and 2–3 years as Incident or Problem Manager.
Technical Expertise:
Proven ability to design and implement ITSM workflows.
Strong troubleshooting and technical repair skills.
Experience supporting SIS, LMS, and CRM systems in higher education.
Leadership & Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Skilled in performance management and vendor oversight.
Tools:
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
