The Corporate Creative Resources is a full-service department for special event production, editorial, video, graphic design, new technology development, and communications planning that manages projects on an integrated basis on behalf of internal corporate clients. The Special Events team produces creative and turnkey internal and external-facing events, meetings and conferences on various levels and scale.
Responsibilities
Overall Production Management support for event including overall planning & logistics, project tracking, and onsite event operations.
Budget Management with Overall Event Producer: updates to Event Budget, revising estimates; preparing estimates as needed; invoice review, filing, tracking; tracking actuals; and preparing chargebacks.
Schedule Management with Overall Event Producer: updates to schedule and check in with teams on progress.
Participate in planning for overall production, installation/deinstallation, and operational planning.
Participate in deliverable reviews, including individual space reviews to support overall event knowledge, production, and operation.
Photo location production management and coordination, including installation/deinstallation.
Support onsite installation/deinstallation.
Onsite daily operation triage support as needed, including support of area managers.
Support daily closing (clearing) of guests from venue, ensuring exhibitors remain open until designated time, and all guests are clear at closing.
Overall evening point of contact at venue until all guests return from Honda Center and clear the ACC area.
Event communication with key partners, vendors, exhibitors, and project team members: support overall event logistics for guest communications; all‑hands and orientation planning and presentation development; partner with Business Units, Sponsors, ACC, Freeman, Ops, Guest Control, Catering, Security, IT, and other stakeholders for efficient communication and seamless operations; assist Production Team or Exhibitors by addressing any questions or concerns.
Participate in meetings, presentations, venue walk-throughs: production meetings, site visits, vendor visits, and other planning meetings; support communication and planning with all stakeholders; communicate with Event Producer on progress, risks, next steps; flag items that may result in changes to scope, schedule, budget, contracts, and programming; participate in daily wrap-up meetings for load‑in and operations.
Development and management of documentation and reports: update production schedule, budget documentation, and other files; provide after‑action notes and participate in after‑action meetings.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Meeting Planning, Marketing, Business, Theater, or Communications or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of production management, event production, or equivalent experience.
Experience with budget development, management, reporting, and close‑out.
Knowledge of technical design/show production (staging, video, audio, lighting) event needs.
Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Strong leadership skills—can lead teams and give clear direction.
Familiarity and/or strong use of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Good knowledge of the Disney brand, processes, and culture.
Strong organization skills.
Strong self‑thinker, able to make smart decisions on the fly, self‑driven.
