MACC is hiring an HRBP to support the Human Resource needs of an assigned portfolio of human?services nonprofit organizations that subscribe to MACCs Human Resource Service. The incumbent serves as the primary point of contact for executives, managers, and employees on general HR issues. The role includes performance management, employee relations, policy development, interpretation, affirmative action, and employment?law compliance. Responsibilities will include the following: Coordinate HR service delivery for assigned member organizations. Develop and maintain a member?organizationspecific HR roadmap that guides the delivery of HR services over time. Ensure each supported member organization has an up?to?date, legally?compliant employee handbook aligned with MACCs standard template. Interpret handbook content for managers and employees in response to inquiries. Deliver in?scope HR services such as coordinating the annual performance appraisal and wage?increase cycle, administering employee?engagement surveys, conducting harassment?awareness training, and performing compensation analysis. Guide managers and employees to HR specialists regarding payroll, benefits, staffing, or reporting questions. Act as a customer advocate to resolve cross?functional service?delivery issues. Recommend resources for member?organization needs outside the scope of the HR subscription. Attend member?organization leadership and/or staff meetings as requested. Hold office hours on site at each member organization, available for managers at least monthly. Coach and support managers and supervisors on talent management, employee relations, and performance?management topics. Advises managers on the progressive?discipline process, including reviewing warning memos and Performance Improvement Plans. Review information for involuntary terminations and make recommendations, consulting legal counsel when appropriate. Conduct HR investigations of alleged employee misconduct when called upon, and report findings to management. Review proposed or updated job descriptions to ensure clarity and alignment with best practices. Respond to managers questions during the annual performance?evaluation cycle regarding appropriate appraisal language. Advocate for employees when appropriate and accessible for workforce concerns. Prepare responses to former?employee unemployment?benefit claims and assist managers in hearing preparations. Collaborate with the member organizations Equal Employment Opportunity Officer to maintain affirmative?action program documents, file EEO?1 reports, and comply with EEO/AAP regulations. Advise managers on FLSA classification of positions based on job?description content. Prepare annual compliance reporting and applications for workforce certificates when applicable. Maintain other compliance records as required by the member organization.

Benefits

Salaries range from $60,000 to $70,000 annually, dependent on HR consultation experience. Other benefits include generous Paid Time Off (PTO), 24 hours of paid employee?volunteer time, nine paid holidays plus three floating holidays, competitive health, dental, and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options. This hybrid position includes travel to member sites for some days and the option to work from home or from MACCs office in Northeast Minneapolis. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with business hours between 8?a.m. and 4:30?p.m. Driving is required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
