Responsibilities
Broad mixed-methods user research experience
Have worked on successful SaaS products, in addition to 0-1 product development
Focus on customer needs and goals, scenarios, tasks flows
Favor customer impact over perfect solutions
Have interest and experience in product and market research, in addition to design research
The Job / What You’ll Do
Own the user research program and operations
Work in partnership with Design, Product and Engineering leads to frame user problems, business opportunities
Design research studies that address user and customer behavior
Deeply understand our users, customers, products, market and business
Facilitate stakeholder and customer feedback sessions, 1:1 interviews and focus groups
Communicate insights and learnings to cross-functional partners and stakeholders
Mentor product managers, designers and engineers on how to collaborate in product discovery
Mature our processes and playbooks for research
Education & Experience
5+ years applied research experience for software design
Educational background in human-computer interaction, computer science, psychology, anthropology or related field.
Experience with both qualitative and quantitative User Research
Experience with a broad range of research tools and frameworks, including, but not limited to: UserTesting, Maze, Qualtrics, Design Sprints, Jobs to be Done, etc.
Preferred: Interactive Prototyping or Design experience, Financial Services experience, R and/or Python

Compensation Base Salary range for this position is between $110,000-$132,000.
This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
Legal Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
