What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Evaluate and enhance department systems, processes, and applications, developing modules and design materials
Collect and analyze user requests, define project scope, and review specifications for accuracy
Provide technical support for production systems, resolving issues to ensure continuous functionality
Contribute to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by designing and developing software solutions
Participate in a 24/7 on‑call support rotation to maintain system uptime and reliability
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience
Expertise in Mainframe, COBOL, JCL, and Hogan (CIAS, IDS, DDA, TDA, Client, Umbrella)
Strong understanding of System Development Life Cycle (Waterfall and Agile)
Proficiency in COBOL programming and Mainframe operations
Ability to create technical documentation and system designs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience working with ServiceNow or similar IT ticketing systems
Familiarity with CICS transaction processing and Agile/Waterfall SDLC methodologies
Knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tools
Experience with Debit and Credit Card systems
Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills
