The Director of Sales (DoS) is the team coach. They help motivate, mentor and hold their team accountable to reach their highest potential in sales. They oversee reporting for their team and have an understanding of the sales numbers and strategy for their venue. They understand where each team member is in their development and know when to push individuals and the team and when to celebrate efforts. They work closely with the local GM to continuously strategize opportunities to ensure success at their venue. Sales Strategy
Store Sales Strategy: Owns the event and catering sales strategy for their venue Effectively communicates the strategy and plan to the sales team and Operations Leadership Tracks results and communicates needs to the Sales and Operations teams Manages the strategic plan to engage with new and existing clients to grow sales Team Market Focus:
Constantly performs market research to inform strategy and stay on top of trends Understands competitors and how to win against them Actively seeks to connect with the community and local decision makers in their market Actively seeks new ways to increase venue sales Creates a sales plan that is backed up with a marketing plan Ensures the team fully understands the sales and marketing plan Outbounding Efforts

Ensure event spaces and packages are clearly defined and understood by the Sales Team and Operations Ensure the team maximizes spaces when booking days and times for events Hold the team accountable to accurate BEO details and communication to guests and the Operations team Ensure all details are accounted for and provide an excellent guest experience Ensure the financials of events are accurately detailed in the BEO, payment is collected and financials are balanced when closing events Time Management and Accountability:
Ability to stay organized and work effectively by showing good time management Ability to work in a high-volume venue Ability to communicate to the team in a timely, professional and motivated manner Ability to communicate to guest in a timely, empathetic and motivating manner to drive relationships Ability to address concerns with the team resulting is mutual understanding and professionalism Guest Relations:
