Our client is an A+ rated carrier and leader in Construction Casualty insurance coverage. We’re looking for a Risk Control Consultant to support a Construction Casualty division by helping the business unit understand and manage risk on the front end. You’ll work hand-in-hand with an underwriting team, spend time digging into construction operations, and help clients improve safety and reduce losses. If you like being the bridge between the field and the office, this could be an excellent match.
What You’ll Be Doing
Focus on assessing Primary Casualty lines, W/C, Auto, GL for middle market construction segments.
Helping clients improve their safety and risk practices, whether that’s through loss analysis, fleet safety reviews, contract risk transfer, or onsite training.
Partnering with underwriters to review potential accounts, look at loss histories, and flag any unusual trends or exposures (WC, GL, Auto, etc.).
Collaborating with claims, underwriting, and clients to make sure risk improvement plans actually stick.
Bringing your construction know-how to the table: general building, trades, civil, marine, work zone exposure, equipment and fleet, cranes and more.
Travel up around 20-25% which can be determined by the employee
What You Bring
6+ years in risk engineering/control, construction safety, or a similar field role (either carrier or contractor experience)
BA/BS required
Certifications such as CRIS, CSP, ARM would be preferred
