Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Patent Litigation Associate for its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will possess one to four years of intellectual property litigation experience, including some exposure to patent litigation. This role offers the opportunity to engage with significant clients and advance in a dynamic legal environment.
Duties
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and memorandums.
Engage in direct client interactions and manage client relationships.
Take and defend depositions in complex litigation matters.
Argue motions and support litigation strategies.
Contribute to the business development efforts of the IP Litigation group.
Requirements
One to four years of IP litigation experience, including patent litigation.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Solid experience in drafting legal documents and memorandums.
Willingness to engage in business development activities.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
USPTO registration preferred, or eligibility to sit for the exam.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
