Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of three. Review journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations. Safeguard the integrity of key processes by evaluating systems, transaction flows, and internal controls, and recommending improvements. Ensure compliance with GAAP requirements and adherence to SOX controls. Serve as a primary liaison with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and support for quarterly reviews and year-end audits. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Technical Accounting & Reporting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Product, and Engineering teams. Champion the adoption of automation and AI technologies to streamline accounting processes, leading initiatives that enhance scalability, efficiency, and accuracy across the close and reporting cycle. 8+ years of experience in auditing at public accounting firms and/or in accounting roles within public companies (tech industry experience preferred). 3+ years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop teams. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective cross-functional partnerships. Demonstrated ability to set priorities, manage multiple tasks, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a continuous improvement mindset. Experience leveraging automation and AI tools to optimize accounting processes. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA is required. Experience with NetSuite or Oracle is preferred. Experience with Coupa and Blackline is a plus. What’s in it for you?
