Sodexo is seeking an accomplished and strategic
General Manager 5 – Food Services
to lead the entire food and nutrition operation at a major healthcare account in the New York Metro Region. This senior leadership position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and requires exceptional expertise in high-volume operations and deep experience leading union teams.

What You'll Do
Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee all food service programs, including patient dining, catering, and multiple high‑volume retail dining outlets, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.
Labor Management & Relations: Lead a large, diverse unionized staff (approx. 150 employees), manage labor relations, adherence to collective bargaining agreements, scheduling, and performance management to optimize efficiency and maintain positive employee relations.
Financial Performance: Assume full P&L responsibility for the account, develop and execute strategic financial plans, including budgeting, cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key client stakeholders, fostering a collaborative partnership focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and achieving world‑class patient and customer satisfaction scores.
Talent Development: Mentor, develop, and coach a management team and frontline staff, building a culture of service excellence, compliance, and professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum Management Experience – 5 Years.
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 Years.
