Senior Product Manager – BioSpace
The Senior Product Manager role involves aligning business and technology stakeholders to develop and communicate a portfolio of product vision, managing product planning and backlog prioritization, and ensuring a sustainable end‑to‑end customer experience globally. This position reports to the Head of Design & Delivery and operates within the Development & Regulatory DD&T organization, supporting Global Development and Global Regulatory business functions.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Vision:
Develop and convey product strategy and vision in collaboration with stakeholders, aligning with business goals and technology directions. Maintain and communicate the product roadmap and backlog to ensure team alignment and delivery of value.
AI Native:
Consistently challenge how processes and products can evolve to exploit AI and drive toward future workforce and product requirements.
Technical and Leadership Expertise:
Understand clinical trial delivery and regulatory processes, product management in pharmaceutical R&D, and bridge business and technical teams. Collaborate with product engineers and designers to support a modern product ecosystem.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Solicit information from IT Business Partners and Business Stakeholders on business direction, goals, and strategies to inform product strategy. Facilitate alignment among stakeholders to support business strategy.
Planning and Prioritization:
Own product planning, including short‑term release plans and long‑term roadmaps. Drive prioritization of the product backlog to keep the team unblocked and aligned.
Budget and Resources:
Manage the product budget in consultation with stakeholders, balancing resources, vision development, and prototyping to sustain product teams.
Customer Experience:
Optimize user experience by continually monitoring and refining the product, ensuring performance and value delivery.

Communicate with relevant R&D teams about supported business processes.
Leadership & Decision‑Making
Collaborate effectively with Product Engineers, Business System Owners, Solution Architect and other stakeholders across ecosystems.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technology platforms and software products to solve business problems.
Interaction & Communication
Embed with product teams to provide transparency and manage expectations.
Reconcile perspectives on product strategy and priorities into consensus.
Innovation & Complexity
Stay on top of industry trends and apply new technologies to the product roadmap.
Effectively convey product vision and inspire enthusiasm among stakeholders.
Evangelize the vision within target communities or ecosystems, ensuring partners feel heard and served.
Education, Competencies & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, computer science, or business administration (preferred but not required).
7+ years of professional experience in R&D, IT service delivery, or related areas; experience in agile software delivery is preferred.
In‑depth knowledge of product management in the pharmaceutical industry.
Experience in stakeholder relationship management and influential orchestration.
Strong understanding of clinical trial delivery and/or regulatory affairs/operations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
Minimum design thinking understanding; advanced practice a plus.
Compensation & Benefits Location: Boston, MA
U.S. Base Salary Range: $137,000.00 – $215,270.00 (annualized)
Eligibility for short‑term and/or long‑term incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short‑term and long‑term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well‑being benefits.
