Base pay range: $250,000.00/yr - $400,000.00/yr
About Us My client is a boutique forensic advisory firm with offices along the East Coast and Southeast. The group is known for expertise in forensic accounting, litigation support, and business valuation, especially in economic damages cases. They work closely with attorneys, business owners, and financial professionals during disputes, transactions, exits, and strategic planning.
Role Overview This senior leadership role within the valuation practice involves leading engagements, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to strategic growth. The Managing Director will work directly with clients, manage complex valuation assignments, and expand the team's book of business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute business valuation engagements for litigation support, including economic damages, M&A, shareholder disputes, and estate planning.
Provide expert testimony and defensible valuation reports that withstand scrutiny.
Collaborate with attorneys, business owners, and advisors to frame valuation issues strategically.
Mentor and develop junior valuation professionals.
Contribute to thought leadership and business development within the valuation space.
Qualifications
CPA/ABV, CVA, MBA or equivalent credentials.
10+ years of experience in business valuation, financial advisory, or litigation support.
Proven track record of managing complex valuation projects and delivering high-impact insights.
Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to diverse stakeholders.
Experience as a testifying expert is a plus.
Revenue generation of $500k+.
