What This Job Will Do As a Director in Litigation Valuation, you will lead complex litigation engagements, manage key client relationships, and oversee expert testimony preparation. This is a unique opportunity for professionals with deep expertise in forensic valuation, financial damages analysis, and expert witness services to take a leadership role in a high-growth practice area.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and managehigh-profile matrimonial litigation valuation engagements, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Overseebusiness valuations, forensic investigations, and economic damages analysesfor complex legal disputes such as hedge fund and private equity interests.

Prepare and reviewexpert witness reports, rebuttal reports, and litigation support documentationfor trial proceedings.

Work closely withattorneys, corporate executives, and dispute resolution professionalsto developfinancial strategies for legal disputes.

Provideexpert testimony support, including financial modeling, damages calculations, and forensic accounting insights.

Supervise and mentormanagers, senior associates, and associates, ensuring best practices invaluation methodologies, forensic analysis, and case preparation.

Leadbusiness development initiatives, building relationships withlaw firms, corporate clients, and litigation finance professionals.

Collaborate withinternal real estate, machinery & equipment, and financial valuation teamson multi-disciplinary litigation cases.

Stay current on legal precedents, industry trends, and regulatory developments impacting litigation valuation methodologies.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, or Business;MBA or JD preferred.

CFA, CPA, ASA, ABV, or CFE strongly preferred.

10+ years in forensic valuation, litigation consulting, or economic damages assessment, includingsignificant client and case management experience.

Deep knowledge ofbusiness valuation methodologies, forensic accounting techniques, and financial modeling for litigation cases.

Experience preparing and reviewingexpert witness reports, rebuttal reports, and economic damages calculations.

Proficiency inExcel-based financial modeling, lost profits analysis, and industry-specific forensic investigations.

Strong understanding oflitigation finance, expert testimony, and legal proceedings.

Experience withshareholder disputes, commercial litigation, fraud investigations, and bankruptcy cases.

Proven ability tolead litigation valuation teams, oversee case strategy, and develop business relationshipswith law firms and corporate clients.

Track record ofgenerating new business opportunities, managing client engagements, and expanding litigation valuation services.

Exceptional ability topresent financial findings persuasively in legal settingsand support expert testimony preparation.

Strong analytical writing skills for draftinglitigation reports, valuation documentation, and legal financial assessments.
