About The Opportunity We’re seeking a flexible, adaptable and highly engaged Vice President to join our Workplace Advisory team in Washington, DC. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll contribute to the success of several major accounts across a variety of sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and own all aspects of client programs, including building strong client relationships, proactively delivering counsel to clients, developing strategic plans, supervising day‑to‑day program execution and the work of several team members, managing account budgets, staffing and work quality, integrating expertise from the broader Edelman network, and partnering with senior colleagues.
Drive business development, including new business, organic growth with existing clients, prospecting, and developing new service offerings that expand the solutions we bring to clients.
Talent development: manage and mentor colleagues, motivate, coach, consistently provide feedback, hold them accountable and conduct performance reviews.
Financial management, including negotiating contracts, supervising and forecasting account budgets, and managing invoicing, billing and client reporting.
Play a defining role in major pieces of business and work with senior leaders, focusing on helping clients advance their business objectives, as well as our own. You will be the main point of contact with clients and set the tone for staff in terms of client servicing expectations.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: employee experience and change management; corporate repositioning; talent attraction; business transformation; labor communications; AI strategy, workflows and communications; marketing; and/or risk and reputation.
Experience designing and implementing communications, engagement and transformation strategies in complex organizations and across diverse stakeholder and leadership groups.
Experience strengthening corporate cultures and helping employees connect meaningfully with their companies' vision, mission, purpose, and strategy.
Experience with stakeholder engagement in large‑scale change, such as mergers, acquisitions and other major moments of transformation.
Track record of creating innovative and measurable solutions to business challenges.
Experience working with and counseling senior management.
Able to work a hybrid schedule, with 3 days a week in the D.C. office.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to travel as needed and flexibility to work on‑site, embedded with clients as needed.
Strong business acumen.
Ability to derive clarity out of ambiguous situations.
Possess strong understanding of how to communicate with teams and work from both client and agency sides.
Strong track record of leading profitable programs.
Solid knowledge of industry best and emerging practices.
Hunger to win new business, with a joy in pitching and presenting.
Demonstrate excellent writing, editing, and presentation‑development skills; project management skills; and consultative skills (including effective questions, critical thinking, client management and framework and methodology application).
Are an empathetic people manager, with confidence, professionalism and entrepreneurial spirit necessary to manage a team and support our growing DC culture.
$95,000 to $155,000 a year. A employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue‑based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, a Paid Time Off policy, and region‑specific benefits.
