Senior Process Engineer – Actalent

Responsibilities
Review and respond to emails at the start of the day.
Address customer needs related to new tooling for part design.
Follow up on outstanding orders and equipment repair with vendors or customers.
Monitor production lines and check in with operators.
Engage with die attach operators to identify and resolve any issues.
Create reports describing production floor issues for vendor or customer feedback.
Document machine repair and describe issues directly on equipment.
Install and test new tooling and identify broken sensors.
Navigate and troubleshoot automated systems.
Create programs for new products currently in design.
Troubleshoot or develop new processes.
Essential Skills
Strong mechanical foundation and aptitude.
Experience with manufacturing processes and automated equipment.
Proficiency in report writing to describe technical problems.
Ability to work with automated machinery and tooling installation.
Experience with automated equipment or pick and place equipment; preferred: Datacon 2020 Evo.
Understanding of DOE, SPC, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Additional Qualifications
Requires BS degree in engineering or STEM‑related field.
At least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
Work Environment The role is 100% onsite with standard workdays from 7 am to 4 pm. It involves a mix of hands‑on work on the manufacturing floor and office tasks. The majority of the time will be spent in a cleanroom lab, requiring the use of an ESD environment and cleanroom suits 80‑90% of the time.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 – $43.27 per hour.
