Position Summary We are seeking a motivated
MRI Technologist
to join our imaging team in Burlington, Vermont. This newly opened position is ideal for an early-career MRI Technologist with a strong foundation in radiologic imaging and a desire to grow within a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities: Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper screening prior to MRI procedures Operate MRI equipment and related computer systems efficiently and accurately Maintain high-quality imaging standards while adhering to radiation and MRI safety guidelines Review patient history and verify exam orders prior to imaging Accurately document procedures and patient information in the medical record Maintain compliance with hospital, state, and federal regulations Assist with routine equipment quality assurance and safety checks
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a
CAHEA/JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology ARRT certification
required Minimum 2 years of radiology imaging experience , including cross-sectional imaging and/or computer-assisted imaging Strong knowledge of anatomy, imaging protocols, and patient positioning Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Skills: Prior MRI experience preferred Familiarity with hospital-based imaging environments Experience with EMR/PACS systems
