Our client is a well-established institution in the education sector undergoing an exciting period of growth and transformation. They are restructuring their accounting team following a retirement and the addition of a new VP of Finance & Administration.
Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join the finance team. In this role, you will support budgeting, reporting, and financial analysis to help guide strategic decision-making and ensure the organization's financial health.
Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities-
Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

The Financial Analyst will support month-end and year-end closing activities

Monitor and report on key financial metrics

The Financial Analyst will assist in financial planning and modeling to support departmental initiatives

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Required:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial experience
Preferred:

Experience in higher education, nonprofit, or endowment environments
