Overview

The Director of Pharmacy provides strategic and operational leadership for pharmacy services, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality medication management. This role oversees pharmacy operations, staff, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all pharmacy operations and staff
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements
• Oversee medication safety, formulary management, and quality initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and administration
• Manage pharmacy budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships
• Implement policies, procedures, and best practices in pharmacy services
• Support continuous improvement and patient safety initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Active Utah Pharmacy License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
• Strong leadership and operational management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Prior leadership experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting

Compensation

• Salary Range: $146,900 – $198,000 annually
