Position: Director of Pharmacy (Full Time)
Responsibilities
Lead departmental strategy and daily operations to support organizational goals
Develop and implement pharmacy programs, policies, and standards
Direct and evaluate patient care delivery models, service levels, workflows, and technology use
Manage budgets and ensure financial performance within allocated resources
Oversee hiring, staffing, performance reviews, training, and corrective actions
Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations, including HIPAA
Integrate evidence‑based clinical practices across medication management
Foster professional development and educational growth within the department
Coordinate and oversee internal/external audits and regulatory inspections
Collaborate with clinical teams, administrative leadership, and quality functions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (accredited school)
Active Utah Pharmacist License OR ability to obtain prior to start
Leadership/management experience in a pharmacy environment
Strong operational, clinical, and regulatory knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD)
Acute care or hospital leadership experience
Budget management experience
Skills & Competencies

Staff supervision & development
Audit and accreditation oversight
