Overview

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Seasonal Sales Associate to join our retail team. Prior retail experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience
• Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Assist with product demonstrations and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
• Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring products are well-presented
• Conduct stock replenishment and inventory management to keep the sales floor organized and fully stocked
• Engage in product knowledge sharing to educate customers about features and benefits of merchandise
• Support store operations by maintaining cleanliness, organizing stockroom areas, and assisting with store resets as needed
• Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or team members

Experience

• Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math is advantageous
• Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve a broader customer demographic
• Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal interaction, are essential
• Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling, and grocery store environments will be beneficial
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service skills

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $ $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
