10+ years of comprehensive experience in retail management, with a proven track record in the firearms or a closely related regulated industry (e.g., sporting goods, specialty retail).
Operational Excellence:
Deep understanding and hands-on experience with all aspects of retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, sales strategies, customer service, and point-of-sale systems.
Business Development Acumen:
Demonstrated success in client relationship management, driving sales growth, identifying product trends, and developing marketing initiatives to expand customer reach.
Regulatory & Compliance Expertise:
Extensive knowledge and strict adherence to all federal, state, and local firearms laws and regulations (e.g., ATF requirements, FFL compliance, background checks).
Team Leadership:
Proven experience in leading and motivating a retail team, fostering a productive work environment, and ensuring high customer service standards and compliance.
Financial & Business Management:
Significant experience in small business management, including budgeting, financial analysis, P&L responsibility, and strategic planning to maximize profitability within a retail context.
Product Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of various types of firearms, ammunition, and accessories, along with current market trends.
