Engineer (Temporary) – DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley
The DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley is looking for a talented Engineer (Temporary). The hotel is located five minutes from Fashion Valley Mall and Mission Valley’s trendy dining center with easy access to San Diego’s top attractions.
Schedule:
Availability from 10:00 a.m.–11:30 p.m. required, including weekends and holidays.
Wage:
$23.63 per hour.
The ideal candidate will possess:
2 years of previous engineering experience
Hotel experience a plus
Customer-focused attitude
Flexible availability
Responsibilities:
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery and/or equipment.
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work and masonry.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
