Overview The DoubleTree by Hilton San Diego Mission Valley is looking for a talented Engineer to maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Schedule Availability from 10:00 am to 11:30 pm is required, including weekends and holidays. Full-time.
Wage $23.63 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
Respond promptly to guest calls and team‑member work orders to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery or equipment.
Perform repair and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and masonry.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Record and report completed repairs and flag items requiring further attention.
Ideal Candidate
2 years of previous engineering experience.
Hotel experience is a plus.
Customer‑focused attitude.

Building maintenance knowledge.
Electrical, HVAC, and plumbing skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve across mechanical systems.
