We’re hiring our first dedicated individual contributor, a

driven, hunter-minded Sales Executive

with deep experience in the policy market who thrives on closing business. In this role, your path to quota attainment and commissions will be driven by your ability to kick in doors for Statt and augmented by inheriting a deep deal pipeline and extensive support from our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve & exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals

Drive new business acquisition by identifying, prospecting, and closing net new accounts in the DC policy landscape.

Engage with senior policy, government affairs, and advocacy stakeholders through a consultative, insight-driven sales approach.

Manage the entire sales cycle—from initial outreach to contract signature—independently.

Build and maintain a robust pipeline using a combination of face-to-face meetings (minimum 3 days/week in our DC office or in market), calls, and digital outreach.

Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success.

Leverage AI-driven demos and case studies to position Statt as a strategic, must-have solution for policy teams.

Proactively partner with the Head of Sales & Customer Success, CEO, Head of Marketing and Head of Product to drive top of funnel and accelerate sales velocity, win rates and deal size.

Keep your deal flow up to date in CRM and deliver accurate, growth-driven territory sales forecasts

Qualifications

3–8 years

of successful SaaS or subscription-based sales experience, with

required

experience in the DC policy, government affairs, or advocacy market, along with an

established book of business and strong, existing relationships with policy professionals .

Proven

hunter

track record: consistently meeting or exceeding quotas through net-new business generation.

Skilled at

consultative selling , with the ability to uncover client needs, articulate value, and build trust quickly.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Experience using AI tools in sales or client delivery is strongly preferred.
