Responsibilities
The Prototype Material Planner is responsible for ensuring on-time delivery of launch/trial parts from client suppliers, including daily monitoring of shipping performance and delivery verification in support of pre-series production development builds.
Issue demand forecasts for pre-series production materials and provide clear status on material availability.
Manage change communication to the supply chain for material demand, resolving planning challenges and supply chain constraints.
Work cross-functionally to ensure success of development builds, becoming an expert in supply chain for assigned commodities and providing planning solutions that set client programs up for success.
