Test Engineer – Server Rack–Level Hardware Systems
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support validation and manufacturing efforts for server rack–level hardware systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with rack-scale compute, networking, power, and thermal subsystems, along with test automation expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute system‑level test plans for server rack hardware, including compute, networking, power distribution, and cooling subsystems.
Support prototype bring‑up, validation, and manufacturing testing during new product introduction (NPI) and production ramp.
Design and implement automated and manual test solutions to improve test coverage, reliability, and manufacturing yield.
Perform failure analysis and root cause investigations for test, validation, and manufacturing issues.
Collaborate closely with hardware, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
Document test procedures, results, and corrective actions clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of test engineering experience focused on server racks or rack‑level data center systems.
Strong hands‑on experience with test and measurement equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal chambers.
Proficiency in test automation and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, Shell scripting).
Solid understanding of server rack architecture, including power delivery and thermal management.
Experience supporting manufacturing and production environments is highly desirable.
