Physician – Medical Oncologist
Location KUCC – Liberty (Liberty Hospital, part of The University of Kansas Health System, Liberty, MO)
Position Summary Liberty Hospital, now part of The University of Kansas Health System, is actively seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to join its growing, community‑based practice. The role involves seeing a broad range of cancer patients and maintaining a balanced patient panel. The Medical Oncology Division provides compassionate, state‑of‑the‑art medical care, conducts clinical & translational research, and trains the next generation of cancer experts. The University of Kansas Health System is a National Cancer Institute‑designated comprehensive cancer center and has been ranked among the nation’s top 50 by U.S. News & World Report for the 12th consecutive year.
Responsibilities Clinical care of adult and possibly pediatric oncology patients; participation in clinical trials; collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; supervision and mentorship of trainees; development and execution of research projects; engagement in educational activities.
Required Qualifications
Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Medical Oncology or Hematology/Oncology
Completed fellowship training in Hematology or Medical Oncology
Eligible for medical licensure in both Kansas and Missouri
