What You Will Do
Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to industry‑specific clients.
Lead client relationships on day‑to‑day tax matters with clients ranging from middle‑market to multinational.
Consult on technical matters and special projects in corporate, flow‑through taxation, ASC 740, accounting methods, etc.
Research tax matters, respond to IRS and other tax authority inquiries, and make recommendations to clients.
Coordinate with specialty tax practices on complicated state and local, high‑net‑worth, international, R&D credits and incentives.
Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure profitability targets are met.
Network and build strong relationships internally and externally to acquire new clients, projects, and revenue.
Participate in firm‑wide learning and development programs.
Support team members’ growth through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or law, or a similar business degree; master’s or advanced degree desirable.
CPA or JD required.
Eight (8)+ years’ experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services.
Five (5)+ years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
Demonstrated management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills.
Ability to lead and supervise others, deliver exceptional client service, and commit to continuous learning.
Highly developed software and Microsoft Suite skills.
Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
The compensation range for this role is $145,000 to $257,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
