Work Status: Project‑site
Summary The Electrical Superintendent oversees field operations, general safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, commissioning, and coordination with other superintendents and project leaders on the job site. The position reports to the Field Operations Manager or other senior management personnel.
This project‑site role functions with a home office base and frequent travel to sites. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. or 9 a.m.–6 p.m. local time, with occasional overtime and weekend work. Travel up to 100 % of the time is expected.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities
Maintain regular attendance in accordance with company policy.
Direct solar/construction personnel and/or subcontractors to complete projects on schedule, within budget, and with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.
Coordinate personnel, material, and equipment to meet schedules.
Support the team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities.
Analyze situations, identify and forecast problems, evaluate realistic options, and recommend or implement appropriate action.
Follow and implement the company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.
Identify welding certification, training, and experience appropriate for assignment scope.
Coordinate and implement resources and activities to maintain safe and quality execution.
Assure all work is within approved scope boundaries and in full compliance.
Coordinate with supplier testing and commissioning teams.
Advise site teams on paperwork needed to initiate commissioning.
Identify testing required per project scope of work.
Communicate with engineering parties to meet commissioning requirements.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Management.
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of professional experience supporting construction of major projects, preferably in power stations, supply networks, or other utility‑scale construction.
Solar PV, wind power, or BESS project experience preferred.
Willingness to travel.
Excellent skills in MS Project or comparable project management tools; strong technical aptitude, including knowledge of software development methodologies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in written and spoken English; bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience reviewing electrical and mechanical installation and design technical packages.
Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Attention to detail and ability to work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner.
Experience operating solar power plants and equipment.
Supervised entire electrical department (15 crews, 100–150 people).
Cable installation and termination (AC/DC/MV/Fiber).
Cab system and combiner box installation.
Module‑to‑module series connection (Plug and Play).
Harness installation.
SCADA, MET station auxiliary rack installation.
Temporary and permanent power connection for substation and office trailers.
Physical Demands
Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, and stairways.
Stand or walk for long periods; walk or move continuously while carrying up to 50 lbs of tools and materials.
Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights and in confined spaces.
Perform repetitive movements and work extended hours on uneven surfaces (dirt, concrete, asphalt, mud, gravel).
Location Industrial construction sites and/or fabrication shops.
