Woodland Hills, CA .

The Reliability Engineering team is dedicated to ensuring mission‑enabling solutions are optimized for reliability, maintainability, and testability (RMT).
This specialized role focuses on advanced reliability engineering for avionics and navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform reliability and maintainability allocations and predictions for avionics and navigation systems.
Develop and analyze Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Built‑In Test (BIT) and Testability analyses.
Conduct Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Support Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Perform Failure Analysis and Risk Assessment.
Support BIT Design Verification Testing, Maintainability and Testability Demonstrations.
Assist with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Reliability Growth Testing (RGT).
Leverage MIL‑HDBK-338, MIL‑HDBK-472, MIL‑STD‑2155 and MIL‑HDBK-217 F(N2) knowledge.
Communicate effectively with Integrated Product Teams (IPT), program management, customers, and suppliers.
Support identifying, planning, and quoting RMT tasks for proposals.
Basic Qualifications – Principal Level
BS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or MS with 3 years.
Demonstrated experience in reliability and maintainability disciplines, familiarity with MIL‑HDBK-338, MIL‑HDBK-472, MIL‑STD‑2155, and MIL‑HDBK-217 F(N2).
Familiarity with electronic circuit schematics and component failure modes/mechanisms.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with process improvement.
U.S. citizenship.
Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance within an acceptable timeframe.
Full‑time onsite work at Woodland Hills, CA.
Basic Qualifications – Sr. Principal Level
BS in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related STEM discipline with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or MS with 6 years; or PhD with 4 years.
All qualifications for the Principal level plus additional years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Electrical Engineering Degree.
Hands‑on RMT analysis and modeling for electronic and non‑electronic systems.
Experience performing FMECA with Testability analysis.
Knowledge of reliability techniques: Weibull analysis, Reliability‑Centered Maintenance, Monte Carlo Simulation.
Experience with reliability analysis software and modeling tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Background in military, government, commercial aerospace, or aviation/equipment maintenance.
Active Secret DoD Security Clearance.
Salary and Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 – $155,400.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 – $193,900.00
