Senior Litigation Paralegal – Washington, D.C.
Location: Washington, D.C. – Hybrid
Salary $110,000 – $155,000 annually, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, organize, and prepare complex legal documents under attorney supervision
Build and maintain case files; manage document organization and review
Conduct factual research using internal and external resources
Assist attorneys with deposition preparation and logistics
Perform e‑discovery searches using platforms like Relativity and coordinate document productions
Format and cite‑check briefs and motions for compliance
Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy before filing
Support trial preparation, attend court proceedings, and manage logistics including travel arrangements
Qualifications
You have at least 10 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification, preferred
You have arbitration and trial experience
Deeply familiar with litigation procedures, terminology, and jurisdictional processes
Strong understanding of legal billing processes and timekeeping systems
Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and document editing/comparison tools
Skilled in online legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, PACER, CM/ECF, and other electronic court databases
Success Metrics
Legal documents and filings are delivered accurately and on schedule
Collaboration with attorneys and internal teams across multiple cases is consistently maintained
Trial and deposition support ensures proceedings run smoothly
Research, formatting, and compliance standards are upheld at the highest level
