Overview
Head of Commercial at The ROSTR Group. Lead global Sales, Marketing, and Support teams to scale our media and technology products. Reports directly to the CEO and drives growth strategy across multiple products and markets worldwide. Key Responsibilities
Own revenue growth across subscriptions, jobs, and advertising/sponsorship products—manage MRR/ARR, churn, ARPU, and ad revenue. Define and iterate pricing and packaging for SaaS products (plans, tiers, trials, discounts) focused on conversion, retention, and expansion. Build and run a simple, effective sales motion for both SaaS and ads—from lead generation and qualification through to closing and renewals. Lead marketing with a focus on performance: channels, campaigns, and content that drive sign‑ups and paid conversion, not just clicks and followers. Shape ad and sponsorship offerings (inventory, placements, CPMs, bundles) and work with the team to ensure campaigns are sold, delivered, and reported well. Design customer retention and support strategies that reduce churn, increase lifetime value, and create clear playbooks for upsell/cross‑sell. Use data from CRM, analytics, and billing tools to understand what’s working, what isn’t, and where to focus next. Who You Are
Startup‑mindset, not a corporate type. Commercial leader with experience owning SaaS product growth—understand funnels, pricing, MRR/ARR, churn, and LTV:CAC. Comfortable with ad‑supported or media‑style revenue—impressions, CPMs, sponsorships, inventory, and why advertisers renew. Data‑driven, living inside CRM, analytics, and billing platforms to pull numbers and make decisions. Self‑motivated and confident—ready to run directly from the CEO/co‑founder. Fast‑moving, risk‑taker, and iteration‑focused—adaptable to quick shifts. Collaborative and excellent communicator across teams. Tech‑comfortable—CRM tools, AI, project management software, etc. Requirements
7+ years in growth‑related roles (sales, marketing, business development, etc.). Proven success growing products at a technology company with verifiable results. Experience managing and scaling teams. Strong understanding of SaaS funnels, key metrics, and growth‑related tools. Eligibility to work in the USA. Los Angeles based or willing to move to Los Angeles. Nice to Haves
Experience in music‑tech. Understanding of the music industry. Existing key industry relationships. Benefits
