About the Role Area Director of Learning and Development
This role will be overseeing Learning and Development for (3) of the Noble House Hotels & Resorts properties in the Keys: Little Palm Island Resort & Spa; Ocean Key Resort & Spa; and The Marquesa Hotel.
Locations Little Palm Island Resort and Spa Little Palm is located on Little Torch Key, FL, situated on a private Island. Little Palm is accessible only from the shore station by our private ferry. With only 30 luxury suites, a Balinese-style spa, the main attraction is the exclusive waterside dining overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with sunset views and fire pits for enjoying a nightcap. Working at Little Palm Island redefines working in paradise. Little Palm is truly a hidden piece of paradise. With an award-winning fare, uncompromising service within a luxurious, yet comfortable island atmosphere. For the last two years, they have been awarded a Michelin Key for Hotels, Three Keys. This property is also a part of Relais & Châteaux.
Ocean Key Resort and Spa Ocean Key is a 4-diamond award-winning resort in downtown Key West, FL. Located in the heart of the action with exquisite sunsets and Mallory Square in our backyard. We're a busy resort with 100 guest rooms, 2 restaurants, a tranquil and tropical Spa, picturesque pool and lounge, fitness center, and so much more!
The Marquesa Hotel The Marquesa Hotel is nestled in and around three charmingly restored historic homes, along with its renowned restaurant, Cafe Marquesa. For the last two years, they have been awarded a Michelin Key for Hotels, Two Keys.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Learning Leadership
Design and implement a holistic learning strategy that supports the organization's luxury service vision.
Integrate Forbes’ Five-Star service standards, Relais & Châteaux’s emphasis on local culture and humanity, and Michelin Keys’ focus on emotional resonance and authenticity into all learning programs.
Partner with executive leadership to align learning initiatives with brand goals and guest experience metrics.
Curriculum Development & Delivery
Responsible for leading New Hire Orientation for all new team members
Oversee the creation of bespoke training content, including onboarding, leadership development, and service excellence programs.
Ensure all training reflects the nuances of luxury hospitality, including etiquette, storytelling, and anticipatory service.
Leverage digital learning platforms and immersive experiences to enhance engagement and retention.
Culture & Service Excellence
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, curiosity, and emotional intelligence.
Lead initiatives that reinforce the values of warmth, generosity, and cultural immersion.
Facilitate executive-level workshops and retreats focused on leadership presence and guest-centric innovation.
Quality Assurance & Standards Integration
Conduct regular audits and service simulations to ensure alignment with Forbes, Relais & Châteaux, and Michelin standards.
Collaborate with operational leaders to close service gaps and elevate performance.
Prepare teams for external evaluations and recognition programs (e.g., Forbes inspections, Michelin Keys assessments).
Talent Development & Succession Planning
Develop internal train the trainer programs.
Identify and nurture high-potential talent through mentorship, coaching, and career pathing.
Develop internal certification programs aligned with global luxury benchmarks.
Support diversity, equity, and inclusion through culturally intelligent learning practices.
Requirements
8+ years in luxury hospitality learning & development, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
Deep knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide, Relais & Châteaux, and Michelin Keys standards.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level.
Exceptional facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
Bachelor's or master's degree in hospitality, Organizational Development, or related field.
