Founded in 2007, DTI (Diversified Technology, Inc.) is a successful African American owned IT Consulting/Staffing firm based in Chicago's Loop.
We focus on delivering staffing and supported services such as enterprise integration/implementation across CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We serve clients in SLED, financial services, Fortune, public utility, and regularly partner with Big 4 SI partners.
We have an immediate need for an
OCM Lead- Onshore
for a 6‑month contract, with possible extension. Must work on our W2. The role is full‑time hybrid (9 am–5 pm, M‑F, CST); on‑site may be required in special circumstances. Candidate/vendor will bear travel costs.
Project Description CPS seeks to contract an experienced Organization Change Management (OCM) Lead consultant for various CIDT projects. Chicago Public Schools is the fourth largest school district in the U.S., serving over 320,000 students. Job Summary The OCM Lead reports to the Director of Enterprise Change Management and plays a key role in driving technology change management efforts for the CIDT program. The role applies a structured OCM methodology and leads change management activities to support the adoption of CIDT initiatives, including assessing change impact, identifying stakeholders, and supporting communication and training efforts.
Responsibilities
Implement the OCM methodology, playbook, and toolkit across CIDT projects; lead change management activities such as OCM strategy and plans (change impact, stakeholder identification and management, communications, training, change readiness and adoption).
Lead and execute change management workstreams, projects and tasks; coach and advise senior leaders, people managers, and project leaders.
Manage OCM delivery by establishing key change milestones, partner with program and project managers, and create, monitor & report user adoption metrics.
Oversee program and project communications; coordinate internal and external engagement plans.
Provide direction to program and project teams to ensure multiple methods and channels reach targeted stakeholders.
Oversee program and project training, including planning, coordination, and delivery; review requirements and support training design.
Monitor employee resistance, recommend mitigation, and, if necessary, Escalate unresolved resistance to project and senior leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Psychology, Change Management or a related concentration.
Relevant organizational change management certifications (e.g., PROSCI or CCMP) preferred.
10+ years of organizational change management experience using a structured methodology, communications, employee engagement.
Served as a trusted advisor for project managers, product owners and senior leaders.
Ability to solve complex problems guided by policy, procedures, and business plans with limited input from senior managers.
Proven ability to produce high‑quality deliverables and set delivery standards for the change management team.
Successfully managed a diverse set of team members and business stakeholders, preferably in the public sector or an educational environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in Change Management or related concentration.
Recognized OCM expert.
Strong planning, strategy and tactic orientation.
Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations.
Experience coaching and advising senior leaders, people managers, and project teams; training and mentoring team members.
