About the Team The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. We launched in 2020 and have since built world‑class operations to delight customers with access to Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, and Retail delivery. This team shapes the future of DoorDash Grocery and is on a global mission to empower and grow local economies.
About the Role We are hiring multiple Analysts to support our rapidly growing Grocery business. As a member of the team, you will be the operational backbone, driving the execution of high‑impact growth and quality initiatives from start to finish. You will enable new merchant launches, manage critical in‑app experiences (e.g., merchandising and promotions), and conduct detailed audits that directly improve customer experience and long‑term business metrics. This position is remote and open across geographies.
Responsibilities
Execute end‑to‑end operational tasks, including setting up promotional campaigns, creating custom merchandising experiences, and scaling new products.
Play a key role in launching and scaling DoorDash's next big business, ensuring the highest level of quality and performance for both new and existing grocers.
Analyze data, build reports, and perform audits to identify and resolve detailed issues that significantly impact quality metrics, growth, and customer experience.
Own key operational workflows as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI), such as managing updates for new merchant launches.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Product, Engineering, General Managers—to design tooling and automation improvements, freeing the team for more strategic work.
Qualifications
2‑4+ years of experience in an operational, cross‑functional role.
Owner mindset: always seeking opportunities to improve work products and outcomes.
Entrepreneurial bias for action, building things from the ground up.
Analytical: let data drive decisions and comfortable with spreadsheets.
First‑principles problem‑solver, synthesizing complex problems into actionable plans.
Compensation Base salary is
