A well-respected national litigation firm is seeking a
General Liability Associate Attorney
to join its
San Diego office . This role offers a
flexible hybrid or fully remote work arrangement
and is ideal for a motivated litigator looking for a long-term opportunity with meaningful growth, responsibility, and support. The firm values

Responsibilities
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
Appear at court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Independently manage a litigation caseload as part of a collaborative team.
Handle matters from inception through resolution.
Communicate directly with clients and provide regular status updates.
Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups and offices to support case strategy.
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
2+ years of defense litigation experience.
Experience with general liability matters, including catastrophic injury, product liability, construction defect, habitability, transportation, or related areas.
Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required.
Experience with court appearances and depositions; trial experience a plus.
Second-chair trial experience preferred but not required.
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
