Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
Defend employer clients in single‑plaintiff employment litigation in court and arbitration.
Investigate and respond to administrative charges.
Analyze liability and damages and develop case strategy.
Conduct legal research and draft correspondence, memoranda, motions, and pleadings.
Prepare and respond to written discovery; take and defend depositions.
Represent clients at court conferences, hearings, mediations, and trial or arbitration.
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school.
Active California Bar membership in good standing.
3+ years of litigation experience, with an employment law background strongly preferred.
Wage & hour experience is a plus but not required.
Strong legal writing skills with attention to detail.
Effective oral advocacy and client communication skills.
Comfortable handling court appearances and participating in depositions and mediations.
Trial experience preferred but not required.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong understanding of California and federal procedures.
