The Clinical Pharmacist II in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Oncology provides clinical pharmacy services for general pediatrics and pediatric oncology patients, serving as the drug expert helping to manage the complex pharmacotherapy regimen of each patient. This role involves rotating rounding with the Neill, Pediatric Oncology or Pediatric Hematopoietic Cell Transplant team to optimize complex pharmacotherapy regimens, performing medication order review and verification for general pediatrics and oncology patients. Additional responsibilities include comprehensive medication management, interdisciplinary decision making, emergency code response, care coordination, education, policy/procedure development, oversight of chemotherapy production and research activities.
Work schedule: dayshift Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and evening coverage.

Minimum Qualifications
Current licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Maryland
Board Certification through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties or equivalent within 2 years of hire
Hospital and departmental education completed within 90 days of hire; ACLS and/or PALS desired
Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy (Pharm D or BS); completion of an ASHP accredited PGY‑1 residency or equivalent
Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY‑2 residency specializing in Pediatrics preferred
Minimum three years of clinical health‑system experience or equivalent
Salary Range: $54.59–$90.15 per hour, commensurate with experience.
