Job Description The Ford Agency is looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to join a collaborative team at a top DC law firm. This role will assist with financial reporting and analysis projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams to better understand headcount needs and create an annual budget. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with financial analysis, who is looking to jumpstart their career with a terrific firm.
Responsibilities Include:
Assist with month-end processes to include headcount calculations
Conduct analysis on recruiting, retention, and related trends
Collaborate with the team to establish salary and bonus review timelines
Support the annual budget process
Maintain budgeting and forecasting applications and stay up to date with budgeting software
Qualifications Include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
1+ years of finance or accounting experience
Strong finance internships will be considered
Advanced Excel skills, i.e. pivot tables and v-lookups, advanced IF statements, and using complex formulas and other advanced features
Superb problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and good judgement
Candidates for this position must be based in DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
