Financial Analyst for AMLaw Top 10 Law Firm – Remote

Salary Range: $100,000-$117,000

The Financial Analyst supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes. The role requires a detail-oriented, motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and validate data templates for lawyer reviews
Support month-end processes (FTE/headcount calculations)
Analyze hiring and attrition trends
Manage salary and bonus review timelines
Assist with benchmarking and compensation surveys
Contribute to annual budgeting (revenue, cost assumptions)
Prepare materials for Budget Committee meetings
Maintain budgeting/forecasting software and provide user support
Process Improvement
Identify automation and reporting efficiency opportunities
Document recurring processes
Maintain confidentiality and integrity with sensitive data
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics
0–2 years in an analytical role
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, IF statements)
Experience with budgeting/forecasting software is a plus
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, and SQL preferred
High integrity and ability to handle confidential information
