Sales Manager
– Join Swickard Auto Group to lead our automotive sales department and drive profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team. Motivate the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback. Ensure adherence to the dealership's sales process and best practices. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify improvement areas. Implement strategies to enhance sales effectiveness and efficiency. Foster a customer-centric culture within the sales department. Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the purchasing department to maintain adequate inventory levels. Manage vehicle turn rates and minimize stock obsolescence. Monitor and analyze the department's financial performance and increase profitability. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and dealership policies. Qualifications
High Hospitality Quotient (kindness, optimism, curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self‑awareness, integrity). 3+ years automotive sales manager experience or 5+ years F&I or floor manager role. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations. Strong knowledge of the automotive industry and sales processes. Proficiency in using CRM software and other tools. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Physical Requirements
Sitting: majority of the workday at a desk with computer and phone. Standing and walking: may need to stand, walk around dealership, or attend meetings. Reaching and bending: may need to reach for files, supplies, equipment. Lifting: occasionally lift or move documents, supplies, equipment. Benefits
