Schedule: Days - 36hrs per week; 12hr shifts

37 private bed medicine/telemetry teaching unit

Will see a diverse adult population with acute and chronic conditions (asthma, COPD, renal disease, DKA, DVT, HTN, PE, sepsis - to name a few)

Exposure to the latest technology including telemetry, Vocera, Epic and CVM (Constant Monitoring System)

Qualifications

BSN required

Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required

BLS and ACLS required

PACU experience strongly preferred

Preoperative holding and evaluation experience preferred

ASPAN membership and CPAN/CAPA certification preferred

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Show evidence of the basic analytic thinking necessary to care for a group of patients

Ability to demonstrate observational skills and the ability to set priorities

Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
