Overview Advanced Recovery Systems is an integrated behavioral healthcare management company dedicated to the treatment of addiction, substance abuse, and mental health issues. We provide evidence‑based, patient‑centered care across multiple facilities in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Full responsibility for overall operations and financial performance of the facility.

Approve all expenses and maintain complete visibility into revenue and expenditures.

Monitor each department’s performance metrics for compliance with company goals, developing improvement plans as needed.

Meet one‑on‑one with departmental leaders at least bi‑monthly to review successes and coach for improvements.

Foster a leadership team aligned with corporate vision, including admissions, staffing, business development and financial services.

Continuously identify areas for improvement and implement practices to meet these needs.

Provide ongoing training to effectively manage premature discharges.

Ensure compliance with state, joint commission, ASAM (if applicable) and insurance provider regulations.

Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.

Create a welcoming, accepting environment focused on clients’ needs.

Ensure the leadership team works together to achieve facility success.

Execute compliance activities related to accreditation standards and licensing regulations.

Prepare for and pass state and joint commission audits with minimal areas for improvement.

Oversee staff orientation, education and supervision.

Determine staffing requirements and maintain effective ratios for census.

Establish clear lines of responsibility and accountability within direct reporting departments.

Provide facility reporting to appropriate leadership.

Manage plant operations to keep the facility safe, secure and well maintained.

Complete payroll and invoice approval for employees, contractors and vendors.

Coordinate with business development to build and maintain community partner relationships.

Ensure exceptional service to patients and their families across all departments.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Core Competencies:

Proficiency in reviewing performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and to identify cost‑reduction and program‑improvement opportunities.

Ability to ensure compliance activities related to accreditation standards and licensing regulations.

Effective time‑management and teamwork skills.

Experience interviewing candidates and determining staffing requirements.

Education

Master’s degree with at least five (5) years of full‑time or full‑time equivalent administrative or supervisory experience in a licensed substance‑use disorder treatment facility.

Bachelor’s degree with at least ten (10) years of full‑time or full‑time equivalent administrative or supervisory experience in a licensed substance‑use disorder treatment facility.

Or ten (10) years of experience in an administrative or supervisory director role in an addiction, psychiatric, or mental‑health licensed facility.

Licensure / Certification Desired

Basic First Aid

CPR

Maintain licenses or certifications required by company policies and state regulations.
